Lunch at THE LIBRARY.
The Coffee Library is a conceptual cafe chain, with a culture embodying the comfortable and nostalgic setting of an old fashioned library.
Their centrally-located flagship cafe on the main street of Jl Kayu Aya in Seminyak, Bali has recently re-opened after undergoing renovations. The cosy restaurant resembles a multi-storey library. Seating is available outside, as well as on the ground floor and upper levels. Old fashioned bound books are on display. Coffee beans are stacked on the timber shelving and pop art lines the walls, creating the perfect space to read and relax over a cup of coffee.
With 3 locations across Bali, The Library has become a popular choice for coffee lovers!
As the name suggests, The Coffee Library offers a selection of local Indonesian coffee. Local roasts including Blue Lintong beans and the popular Luwak Cofee blend are on the menu, as well as a hand-picked variety of coffee beans from overseas.
In the Balinese heat, their cold drip coffee is a refreshing alternative for those still looking for a caffeine fix. However, The Coffee Library is not just for coffee lovers! They also offer a tantalising selection of cocktails and a tasty breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner menu.
I first found The Coffee Library online when pictures of their amazing brunch dishes started popping up on my Instagram feed.
So I stopped by the cafe on Jl Kayu Aya whilst out shopping in Seminyak with a fellow Flight Attendant one afternoon. It was lunchtime, so I ordered a BLT sandwich and a Lime Granita. This was a delicious and satisfying combination. However, as a coffee lover, I wish I’d had the chance to go back for breakfast!
With 3 locations, this is one of my favourite coffee shops in Bali and it’s a must to add to your Brunch in Bali BUCKET LIST!
